The flooded holes are the deepest point of the lake, measuring at 30 m, and can surpass 60-80m in depth. Filled with the beautiful nature and numerous historical monuments, the Montenegrin side of Lake Skadar was named a national park on November 27th 1983.

The main attraction of this Lake is its symbol, the pear-shaped pelican that attracts numerous ornithologists every year.
