Chacao - Departure from Puerto Varas by Bus lasts 1 hour before arriving at the Ferry.
To cross to the Island of Chiloe, you sail by ferry for 30 minutes until you reach Pargua through the Chacao Channel and on the way back you have to take the same ferry and it will be another 30 minutes and then the bus to return to Puerto Varas.
Ancud - Ancud is a charming city located in the north of the Isla Grande de Chiloé, in the south of Chile. Ancud has a rich history, impressive natural beauty and vibrant culture.
Islotes de Punihuil - The Pingüinera Puñihuil is a natural reserve located on the north coast of the Island of Chiloé. It is famous for being the home of three species of penguins: the Humboldt penguin, the Magellanic penguin and the rockhopper penguin. This site is one of the few places in the world where you can observe these three species of penguins cohabiting in their natural environment.
The tour generally begins at the port or dock of Puñihuil, where you will board a small boat with a specialized guide. During the journey to the Pingüinera, your guide will provide you with information about the local flora and fauna, as well as interesting facts about the penguins and their behavior.

We begin our journey in Puerto Varas before making our way to Chiloé Island via a ferry ride. We’ll pass through Ancud en route to Piñihuil Bay, where you’ll be able to board a small vessel accompanied by a professional guide. The transportation process typically takes around 2 to 3 hours. As we work our way towards the Penguin Colony of Piñihuil, the guide will offer insights into the native plant and animal life, as well as intriguing details about the penguins and their behavioral patterns. Please note that this tour includes the boating experience.
