Islotes de Punihuil - The Pingüinera Puñihuil is a natural reserve located on the north coast of the Island of Chiloé. It is famous for being the home of three species of penguins: the Humboldt penguin, the Magellanic penguin and the rockhopper penguin. This site is one of the few places in the world where you can observe these three species of penguins cohabiting in their natural environment.
The tour generally begins at the port or dock of Puñihuil, where you will board a small boat with a specialized guide. During the journey to the Pingüinera, your guide will provide you with information about the local flora and fauna, as well as interesting facts about the penguins and their behavior.
