- Delphi - Depart Athens with a friendly escort (archaeologist) by bus from the Halandri Metro station and reach Delphi that rises between two terraced rocks, the Fedriades. Delphi is considered the “navel of the earth” and the center of the wisdom of ancient Greek civilization. It was the holiest site of ancient Greek hosting the Oracle of Delphi with the priory of Olympian god Apollo, Pythia who transferred the prediction of the god to the humans. Explore the Oracle of Delphi and drink water from the sacred Castalia spring. If you are lucky, who knows maybe Pythia’s ancient spirit reveals you the future! Walk around the archaeological site with the unique findings such as the Treasure of the Athenians, the Dome of Athens Foresight, the Temple of Apollo, the ruins of Ancient Stadium and the Theater of Delphi.
- Delphi Archaeological Museum - Then, visit the modern archaeological museum of Delphi. The archaeological findings are kept in the museum from the Archaic to the Roman era, with impressive artifacts such as the Iniohos, the Sphinx of the Naxians and the statue of Antinoos. Delphi is not only history as it is also known for the gastronomy. So enjoy a gastronomy break with delicious homemade greek foodies.
- Arachova - We depart to Athens at around 15:00 making a stop in the beautiful village of Arachova to capture the enchanting landscape. Arachova is located right on the foothills of Mount Parnassus and is a very famous winter resort for the habitants of central Greece.
We are back at about 17:30 at the Smart-Eco-Pickup of AMMON EXPRESS, the Halandri metro Station.

family culture - The landscape is beautiful. The Guide was excellent, explained everything with much ownership, very friendly and polite. An indispensable walk. The city we stopped for lunch is very beautiful, we could stay a little longer to get to know better.

A great learning Experience! - This tour was fun! We learned a lot at the museum. Tour guide gave us loads of info. There is a bit of a hike but we were able to hike up. Be careful of where you go off trail (which is allowed) as there were people getting yelled at by guards. It seemed most of them were stepping on something they shouldn’t or too close to the edge.

Wonderful day trip - Wonderful day trip! Our guide, Aggelina, was very nice, upbeat, and informative. Coach was great, AC worked well. The visit to Delphi was incredible and the lunch on our own in the nearby town was great

Great day trip from Athens to Delphi - This was my second time to Delphi but my family’s first. It is an amazing site! Our guide and bus driver were great. The guide was great at providing information during the bus ride. I was also impressed that she remembered our faces when finding us after Delphi to get back on the bus. She also provided great recommendations for Arachova and Athens. The stop in Arachova was new, it’s a beautiful city with a great view on top of the clock tower.

Fun and Interesting - We really enjoyed our day trip to Delphi and Arachova. Our guide, Vivian was professional and helpful. The morning stop for coffee was appreciated. The exploration of Delphi’s archaeological museum and site was self guided, which we really liked. Arachova is only 15 minutes from the site and on the way back to Athens so it was a good stop. We enjoyed lunch and a little exploration time. All in all, we found the trip enjoyable and meeting expectations.

Great day to get away from Athens - This was an excellent day trip! Chryssa was our guide and she did an amazing job providing details as well as giving us tips and recommendations to eat . Our driver George did so well navigating traffic and getting us there and back without a problem. I would recommend this trip to anyone that is wanting to venture out a bit from Athens!

Horrible company: Viator - The instruction of Avion and the Tour operator send us to another location than the given adress.
So we were to late for the excursion, called and emailed to Viator, but they don’t give our money back. They just say it is there final decision. Absolutely scandolous! Never do anything with this company!!
