The Journey to Delphi: A Prelude to Ancient Wisdom

Our journey began at the Halandri Metro station, a bustling hub in the northern suburbs of Athens. The station itself is a testament to the modernity that coexists with the ancient history of Greece. Arachova: A Charming Interlude

After our exploration of Delphi, we made a brief stop at the Temple of Athena, a site of serene beauty. The temple is situated down a slope, and while the walk can be challenging, the view from the overlook is worth the effort.

Our final stop was the picturesque village of Arachova, nestled at the foothills of Mount Parnassus. With its winding streets and traditional architecture, Arachova offers a glimpse into the charm of rural Greece. We had about an hour and a half to explore the village, which was just enough time to wander through its quaint shops and enjoy a leisurely meal at one of the local tavernas.

The return journey to Athens was swift, a testament to the efficiency of traveling in a small group. As we made our way back to the Halandri Metro station, I reflected on the day’s experiences.
