Additional Information

The globally renowned mountain, Montblanc (4810m) boasts the highest peak in the Alps. This grand massif stretches south of its capital, Chamonix, sharing borders with France, Switzerland, and Italy.

Six traditional routes lead to its peak, with the Goûter route being the most accessible and thus, the most frequented. This path includes a stop at the Goûter refuge.

Every summer, hundreds of mountaineers, trekkers, and climbers converge on the valley to conquer this colossal white summit, fulfilling a dream of scaling one of the world’s most legendary mountains. Beyond this, the massif presents a myriad of adventure opportunities for varying skill levels, making a trip to Chamonix an all-rounded experience.

Given Montblanc’s towering height, climbers typically scale one or two peaks before the final ascent for proper acclimatization. Despite the height falling short of 5000m, it’s recommended to spend a few days acclimatizing to avoid potential altitude sickness.
