Not recommended - A visit to Zinacantan resulted in only a visit to a single store selling local textiles. The town itself appeared ordinary.
Chamula has lost charm and character and the visit only included a walk along an uninteresting street and a visit to the church where shamanic practices include the sac drive of chickens and roosters.
