Chandigarh - I had a great first visit to Chandigarh; Rusty picked me up from the airport and made me feel safe as a solo femme traveler from the very start. He also ensured that my booking at the Pierre Jeanneret guesthouse went through, which was a big highlight of my stay. Apart from breathtaking modernist architecture, we explored some delicious local food and coffee spots. Unfortunately, the main government buildings were closed due to an unannounced visit by the president. Rusty had great back up plans though and it will give me just another reason to go back.

Well Worth Doing! - Rusty was a fantastic guide; super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about a wide range of things; not just the architecture. We did hesitate at the price, but it was well worth it so if you are also hesitating, I'd encourage you to do it! We saw everything we wanted to, learnt everything we wanted to, and a bunch of other things that we didn't know we wanted to see or learn about! And excellent food recommendations as well, with great conversations during down time :) My favourite place to visit was the semi-abandoned cinema, while my girlfriend's was the rock garden. Was also great to see parliament and court buildings of course and I'm sure it would be even better but for the fact that went while Parliament was in session so couldn't go inside. Overall, thoroughly recommend!

Bop around town with a consummate Chandigarhian - A master craftsman in the art of conversation and invaluable resource for visitors to Chandigarh. If you’re anything like me (student, interested in architecture, only in Chandigarh for 1 day), you may find Rusty relentlessly multiplying the value of your limited time in town. You’ve been warned… PS. Ask about staying in the original Pierre Jeanneret house near Sukhna Lake!

Cool Chandigarh Day Tour - Rustam was a very funny and friendly guide. It was a fun experience. As an architect i was hoping for a little more in depth knowledge about le corbusiers work.

Chandigarh - architecture and context - Rusty is a little eccentric, very well-informed and knowledgeable person that really helped me understand Chandigarh's origins, which cannot be understood through the lens of architecture alone, but needs also the overall town planning and social context which underpin 'new towns' from Edinburgh to Brasilia. A very pleasant day.

excellent guide, great experience! - Rusty was an excellent tour guide! I was traveling alone as a solo female and I went to Chandigarh because I was mostly interested in architecture and history. Rusty was able to customize the tour to what I was most interested. In particular we had access to spots in Capitol Complex that regular tourists usually miss out on, such as Secretariat, the High Court, and the iconic Open Hand Monument. I definitely won't be able to visit them by myself in the same way. We had lunch and coffe in amazing cafés and restaurants and we have visited many different spots in Chandigarh: architecturally designed museum, Rock Garden, Memorial Park and University buildings, Neelam Theatre, Rose Garden, etc.. Normally I would visit the city alone, but I've chosen to visit it with Rusty because i wanted a special architectural experience. I'm so glad of y chose and I highly recommend to visit Chandigarh with him.

The Best Way to See Chandigarh! - Rusty is a knowledgeable, kind, organized and fun guide. I was able to see so much more of the city than I ever would on my own (or on any other tour). Rusty will happily adjust the tour to your interests and desired pace saving time for coffee, juice or treat stops along the way! Truly the best way for me to have experienced this architectural pilgrimage.

Excellent guide for all ages. - We were a group of 18 (7 adults and 11 kids), and Rusty did a fantastic job of engaging all ages. We covered the rock gardens, lake and the capital complex. He was very informative about the city and the sites. He also made excellent suggestions for local food. I would highly recommend him as a guide. As a bonus (included) service, he had a friend that took amazing pictures of our tour.
