Amazing - Amazing experience! Adolfina was incredibly knowledgeable, she CLEARLY knew what she was talking about. Wonderful experience! The snacks we got at the bakery was fresh, like super fresh. We went to this gentleman’s house, and he explained about all the history, very good.

The other side of Goa that everyone must see! - It was a great experience to visit some of the ancestral homes that have been preserved by families for generations. What stood out was the passion and pride the families had in sharing their stories. Their dedication to maintaining these homes as living museums of Goa’s rich culture was inspiring. Jade Barretto from Soul Travelling kept us captivated while explaining the history of Chandor and Goa. It felt like an old friend walking us through his hometown. Would definitely recommend this for anyone interested in seeing Goa in a completely different perspective!

Charming Chandor Heritage Homes - One of the trails that I was looking forward to because of my love for architecture and history. Both Braganca-Pereira and Fernandes Heritage homes gave another insight to Goa's Portuguese heritage. The artifacts in each home gave a glimpse of how daily life was in the past. The temple ruins and the bridge was also a pleasant part of the trip which added another layer of information to Chandor's history. Rajat gave us the best possible information about Chandor's history and is full of energy, passion, and knowledge. I ended the trail with better perspective of Goa. The Feni tasting as an add-on is a must.

Immersive Goan history, stunning architecture, engaging storytelling, unforgettable experience. - Today we had the incredible opportunity to join Soul Travelling's "House of Chandor" tour, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, the tour was perfectly organized, and every detail was thoughtfully curated to give us an authentic glimpse into Goa's rich history and heritage. Our host Tavanya Coutinho was simply outstanding! Her passion for storytelling, combined with a deep knowledge of the history of Chandor and its significance, made the tour come alive. She took us on a journey through time, sharing fascinating stories about the royal family and the architectural beauty of the house, all while keeping the experience engaging and interactive. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like we were guests, not just tourists. The "House of Chandor" itself is a hidden gem, filled with timeless charm, antique treasures, and an aura that transports you to another era. Every room, every corner had a story to tell, and we were mesmerized by the beauty of the architecture and the preservation of Goan heritage. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Goa beyond its beaches. Soul Travelling has truly outdone themselves with this experience, and I can't wait to join more of their tours in the future!
