Great trip to Chiang Rai - Was a great opportunity to see the temples and the Golden triangle, get in a refreshing boat ride, and learn about the Karen tribes- I had a really nice experience. The guide Nomi was excellent, knowledgeable and very helpful. Was a long day and worth every minute!

Great trip to Beautiful sights in Northern Thailand. - A great trip - a long day but worth it as you see so much of northern Thailand. Lots of different, varied places of interest. Get to dip feet in the hot springs, the Long Neck Tribe and other peoples were beautiful. The temples stunning - loved the white temple as so different contrasting with the more traditional blue templ, and the black house area with the art work interesting. And finally the golden triangle and boat trip along the Mekong River. A long way but the guide and driver were great. Loved it all and would recommend.

Amazing, Friendly, Nice - We had a great tour, everything was arranged as mentioned in the details, our guide and driver were both very nice and friendly. The tour is around 10 people which is great as you can connect with more people but still have the feeling of an exclusive tour. The temples were all beautiful and show the history of chiang rai in the most beautiful way. We had a great lunch (included in the tour). It is a big tour (around 15hrs) so be prepared to be exhausted in the end of the day. Also, the amount of time you can be in each attraction is limited as you have a lot to do, which can make you be a bit in a rush to visit but is the only way that you get to see everything, so for us worked quite well and we took the most out of each one. Supper recommend this tour to anyone that would like to go on a day trip to chiang rai!

A day packed with fun - What a great trip! My only addition would have been more time to take photos around the region of The Golden Triangle, but everything else was perfect. Our tour guide was funny, sweet, responsible, attentive, helpful and informative, I couldn't recommend her enough, she's a superstar! The trip was fun, a long day packed to the brim with activities and adventue

highly recommend, full but fulfilling day! - This has been by far the best tour I've had in two months of traveling. MM was an ethusiastic guide, sharing great information about the sites we were traveling to and the people of the Karen tribe we interacted with. The lunch was the best food I've had in thailand! Happy was an excellent driver. I would only add that for the Karen village visit, I think it would be a more unique experience to have an option to chat with the women more about their journey and culture with the guide translating rather than be shown more goods to buy ( I know they help support them). I also think more history regarding the history of the countries of the Golden Triangle would make it a more informative tour as well. It was hot, but many places to buy drinks to cool down as well! It was a full day, but alot of time to rest in the car and very worthwhile, especially thanks to MM!

White Temple and Golden Triangle tour - This was a loooong day. Picked up at 7am, dropped off at 10pm. The white temple was beautiful and the Golden Triangle and Maekong River boat ride were a unique, enjoyable experience. They could have eliminated the visit to the Baan Dam museum and shortened the trip.

If you have limited time and want to see a lot in one day - This tour was long any may be worth it if you have a short amount of time in Chiang Mai and want to see several different sights but lower your expectations. Everything is just a tourist trap now. The worst being the Karen Village. It is not authentic. It is just a market with mass produced souvenirs. That is, it is a new settlement formed by some organization a few months back. While maybe well intentioned, it felt like a human zoo. Honestly, this tour would be better if they removed the Karen "Village" visit.

I would avoid this tour unless……… - I would avoid this tour unless you want to spend 14 hours in a minibus, driving to see a few temples, though the White Temple was very cool, have family style lunch drive 1.5 hours to see Mekong River, take rickety boat ride for 30 minutes, drive 4.5 hours back to Chiang Mai. Our guide was horrible, barely gave us any information along the way, his/her English was difficult to a understand at times, driver was on his phone while driving, only to be topped off at 7-11 for a microwaved hot dog for dinner. There has to be a better way to do. I’ve used Viator many times in the past but this was by far the worst I have ever experienced. Tom
