Unforgettable day - Amazing! Jungle hike along the waterfalls was breathtaking. Our local guide constantly fetched wild cinnamon, and other delicacies from the forest. Views of the stepped rice paddies was incredible. And the local coffee was delicious!

Our trip - We had a lovely tour of the national park. Both our driver and tour guide were very nice! The tour guide, who goes by the name banana was very entertaining and nice! He was also very on top of taking photos for everyone which was a nice added bonus! Overall, we had a lovely day! Thank you!

Very interesting - This is a great trip, very interesting. The pagodas are worth seeing, there are escalators to go on to get to the entrance of both pagodas, but there are a lot of steps to come down. There are stone carvings on the walls of the king pagoda and the roof of the queen pagodas has paintings telling a story. The gardens are beautiful.

Good views - We travelled via an aircon mini-van into a nature filled area that was very different from the warm and bustling city. It was 8 degrees on the mountain and rainy so a light jacket with a hood is an essential item. The road up the mountain can snake around quite a bit so less of a brekkie is best for the morning drive up. The pagodas are eye-catching and monumental and we quite liked the walks around it allowing for some good leg stretching! Lunch was at a local restaurant that is frequented by many tour groups and it was delish especially for us as vegans which was a lovely surprise!

Disappointing tour if weather is bad - This tour was largely spent at the national park outside. The waterfalls were beautiful and the village visit was interesting, however, since it rained the whole day we did not get to see the Twin Pagodas or the view from the top as in the picture. The tour stopped at the Twin Pagodas but it was so foggy and everyone was so cold by then that nobody got out of the van. This was disappointing. Do not do this tour during the rainy season--better to do this during good weather.

Glad we did it, but not the best - Arrived 30mins late, but driver (Mr Jack) then far too fast around all the turns for a van with van like suspension. Fortunately I’d taken travel sickness pills in anticipation (it did say windy roads), but the speed was not necessary - all felt v. Rushed. V. Cheery guide, johnny, with good knowledge, and the sites with seeing but would have preferred a trip with more opportunities to talk in the mountain park, and less rush/better driving

Karen Hill Tribe vs Karen Long Neck Tribe - I booked this trip not realizing that there were different types of Karen tribes....if you are wanting to visit the Long Neck Tribe this is NOT the trip to go on. You will visit the hill tribe which was not very Interesting to see at all. We saw three little old ladies weaving and walked over to the rice fields where you can buy a cup of coffee. Unfortunately, it was not very Interesting at all. Bring a light jacket or sweater for when you go to the highest point in Thailand. It is a bit chilly due to the altitude. The driver was not the best driver. If you are in a hurry to get somewhere then he was great but he was driving extremely fast up and down the mountain on winding roads. During lunch we were crammed into two tables although there were three tables connected. The tour left me feeling like I didn't get what I was hoping to see in Chiang Mai.

Horrible! Terrible! Don't buy this! - Its our first time writing a bad review. Run away from these company excursions! Their drivers are very dangerous. They drive really fast. They fall asleep while driving. Things fall everywhere. We have videos of how they drive and are falling asleep while driving, contact me if you want me to send it to you.We were literally holding our seats for our lives. We contact Sunleisure World personally by phone and text message the same day we took the excursion, explaining what had happen, and they never answer. We then contacted tripadvisor, which contacted them, and they never gave us an apology or money back. We made our excursion at the beginning of June and now in July I see another review that the person describes the same thing that happened to us, and its serious this situation. Someone might get hurt. An accident might occur. Avoid Sunleisure World. As if that is not enough, we never visited the Long Neck Tribe. They took us to another tribe that is basically nothing but normal farmers. The food during lunch was bad, really bad. Flies everywhere. The bathrooms on the lunch area had death mice and no toilet paper.
