Wonderful interaction with Elephants - Among the dozens of tours offered to see elephants and more or less interact with them, I looked for someone who offered the most natural experience possible with these wonderful animals and with this tour I found it! This family has lived and cared for elephants for generations and we had the opportunity to spend a special day with them, feed them and bathe them. A day I will surely never forget!

The perfect day - It was a perfect day at Elephant Pride Sanctuary. We were picked up on time at the hotel and then drove incl. small break at a local market to the Sanctuary When we arrived we had a hat and a colored shirt before we fed the three elephants (granny, mom and junior). Then we followed the elephants into the forest, had a mud bath and a river bath with the elephants. You've seen rightly that the elephants like their keepers who live here with the elephants too. There was no compulsion or show elements or anything like that. The elephants move freely everywhere in the forest, river etc. You just accompanied the elephants all day and served the food. Also for us there was delicious lunch and water. It was a great experience, highly recommended if you just want to be with elephants. Guaranteed small group (there were only two of us :-) It was just a great and relaxing day with lovely elephants and great care

Fantastic experience - Great experience with Care Pride team. Timely transfers and coffee stop at local market e min route. The farm is as you would expect, very basic but a lovely lunch is provided and the facilities do what they need to. The elephants are well cared for and seem very content. It is a wonderful experience to spend the day with them, following their routine, nothing is forced. Would definitely recommend, make sure you have plenty of insect repellent

The temperature in the... - The temperature in the mountains is cooler than the city. Walking shoes and insect repellent are essential. Be prepared to get muddy & wet.

Best time ever - This is hands down one of the best experiences I've had in Chiang mai. Everyone is very knowledgeable about the elephants and they treat them very well. Also the lunch they provide for you is very delicious 😋. You can't go wrong picking this family for your tour. Thank you again!

Such an amazing experience!!!! - What an amazing day. First thing - this sanctuary only allows 1 group per day, with a max of 10 people so as to not overly stress the elephants! That means that it's a few baht more than other sanctuaries, but it means that the elephants are better taken care of! Right away upon arriving we were allowed to feed the elephants some corn stalks. Then we were each given a bag of broken up sugar cane stalks and some bananas to feed the elephants. Next, we walked with the elephants up a big hill so they could get their exercise in & we gave them the rest of our sugar cane & bananas at the top while the elephants came back down the hill at their own pace while we headed down for an amazing homemade Thai lunch. Now comes the part that I won't ever forget - walking with the elephants over to a mud pit where we helped them cover themselves with mud (which helps cool them & keeps insect larvae from staying on their skin). Followed by walking over to the river with them and helping rinse off all the mud. If you are looking for a truly ethical sanctuary, this is the place!

The whole day was perfect from start to finish, with a comfortable transfer, friendly guides, three amazing elephants and a great lunch. The whole experience was unforgettable and I'd highly recommend this experience!

Once in a lifetime - An experience that will stay with me forever! This was the HIGHLIGHT of my time in Chiang Mai. The whole experience from start to finish was great. The staff were highly knowledgeable and friendly. It was a small tour which allowed for an experience you wouldn't be able to find at many places. The elephants were well looked after and you could tell how much the staff cared for them. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to experience a once-in-a-lifetime experience and something that you will talk about for years!

Fabulous trip to the elephants - What a great experience this was! The pick up was easy and on time. Only five people in total on the trip. Coco Loco drove us with Dodo at his side. A stop for coffee/bathroom on the way and for them to collect fruit for the elephants Then to the sanctuary where the happiest, best cared for elephants live. We fed them, walked with them and got in the mud bath with them, all the time being informed about the elephants. The guides are really knowledgeable and friendly but the elephants happiness is their priority. A really great trip.
