Big ( our tour guide) is a legend - We fed the beautiful elephants who looked very well cared for, then trekked the jungle in search of waterfalls. This was an unexpected highlight, so glad I saw this part of Chiang Mai. Followed by very fun rafting down a beautiful scenic river. Well worth it highly recommended. Be aware there are some other organisations out there that aren't as kind to their elephants, do your research. Pick one like this . Thankyou Big.

The most amazing experience! - Never dreamed we’d get to interact with the elephants so closely: feeding them by hand, bathing them in the river, giving them a mud bath. Our hike to the waterfall and rafting trip were both more rigorous than expected (a pleasant surprise, but something to be aware of). Sak was an excellent guide. This trip was a great value as well.

Min is the best!! - I cannot say enough great things about Min and this excursion. Min took such good care of us, we had freshly made pad Thai and spring rolls, everything was so well planned. The best time, truly.

Best day out all trip! - A great day out. Loved the scenery and walk into the jungle to the waterfall. Great experience feeding, bathing, and throwing mud on the elephants. Enjoyed the white water rafting - more brown! Ping Pong was an excellent host all day.

DAY TO REMEMBER - 100% worth every penny. Big, the tour guide was fantastic, so friendly and will look after you all the way. The Hike was challenging, but the end result of it was definitely worth it - bring something to swim in and a towel for sure. The elephant sanctuary was amazing, you prepare the food for them and then feed it to them. It really is 100% ethical in our experience, no use of tools to make the elephants do anything, they seem like they want to be there. They are also completely wild as when walking around the forest you can see them living in their natural environment. After this the rafting was amazing, and you can swim in the river too. Could not recommend it more. Me and my girlfriend had a day to remember!!!! 10/10!!!!!!

The hike is NOT easy! - This was a great experience, despite the hike being fairly challenging. I was wearing Adidas sandals that had a strap, but my friend who wore Teva sandals also thought it was hard. I wish I would have worn appropriate shoes. The hike is about 5km total and took 1hr each way. The waterfall was a bit underwhelming, in my opinion. But the elephants and river rafting made up for it!! It was definitely worth it and I would do it again, maybe minus the hike. Bring lots of bug spray!!!! Our tour guide, Ping Pong, was great!!!
