Additional Information

This tour will take you by Electric Bicycle through the historic city of Chiang Mai, you will see some of the famous Chiang Mai temples and the more unknown Chiang Mai places which tourists hardly visit. That makes this tour interesting for both new and recurring visitors, even for those ‘who have seen it all’ The less well-known areas will show the poorer side of the city, the slum areas where Thailand’s prosperity has not reached its inhabitants yet. And also here you will be greeted with that famous Thai smile.

Our tour will also bring you to local markets, food stalls and small restaurants to discover and sample authentic Northern Thai and Chiang Mai food, sharing with the local Thai themselves. Our guide and the stall owners will be more than happy to explain food preparation and maybe even share their cooking secrets! A good way to pick up some basic Thai words and expressions for when you order your next Thai meal.

A great way to see Chiang Mai - Our tour guide was Win, he was great, fantastically knowledgeable. The tour lasts about 3 and the cycling is very easy. so great sites to see. There is less food in the afternoon as the market is not as busy as the morning.

Great 1/2 day around Chiang Mai - We really enjoyed our 1/2 day bike ride around Chiang Mai. Win, our guide, was awesome, he took us to places we would never have known about and learnt so much about Chiang Mai, and Thailand. We found the Temple Visits interesting as he explained lots of History and other interesting details, it really made a difference to us having a guide. Thanks for showing us around, we really enjoyed our ride around Chiang Mai.

Good guide. Poorly organized. - Guide was knowledgeable and patient but the experience was badly organized. They tour started 30 mins late (and started to conflict with an appointment we had later) and the guide did not know what tour was he supposed to give us. He started doing a different thing and when we asked him about the temples we were going to see he realized he was doing the wrong tour. Fortunately we realized this early. Company providing the tour needs to be more organized and respectful of the customers time.

Not much to see and not interesting. Bad food. - Staff at the office were very nice. Good choice of bicycles. However, not much to see on this tour. Guide difficult to understand and not interesting. Food offered was extremely limited and not good at all. I would recommend a different tour focused more on the surrounding areas rather than the city itself.
