• Gandoca - Organic Chocolate and Food Forest Farm: Until the early 1990s, the residents of Gandoca were entirely self-sufficient, relying on traditional farming, fishing, and hunting. On this hike around the farm, participants will discover chemical-free farming methods, multi-crop farming, and the traditional significance of chocolate. Additionally, they will witness the traditional chocolate-making process. During the tour, it is common to encounter the Red Dart Frog, Allayed Viper Snake, and various bird species.

Gandoca Lagoon:
Explore the largest, most unique, and best-preserved mangrove forest in the South Caribbean of Costa Rica. The ideal way to experience it is from the water, which is exactly what this boat tour offers through the serene, pristine waters. Participants will have the chance to observe three different species of monkeys (Spider, Howler, and Capuchin monkeys), along with a variety of bird species. After wildlife spotting and touring the lagoon, there will be an opportunity to swim in the calm, brackish waters.
