• Aptera - This half-day mini group tour in Aptera offers an engaging exploration of the archaeological site, combined with a fun and educational painting and Greek calligraphy workshop. Participants will create their own ancient art to take home.

The journey begins with a guided exploration of the ancient site of Aptera, where visitors can wander through Roman ruins, Roman baths, an ancient theater, an old church, and an abandoned monastery, among other historical landmarks.

Following the tour, there is a unique opportunity to join a one-hour workshop led by Lena Septemvri, a Greek calligrapher. Participants will learn the ancient Greek alphabet and practice writing words, phrases, and their names in ancient Greek letters. All supplies are provided.

The final part of the trip includes tasting delicious traditional Cretan food and sweets, and experiencing Cretan hospitality in a village near Aptera.
