chania evening (The Night Chania) - I recommend this overnight excursion. The Guide is very interesting you have to understand English. Stroll through the city at the best time of day; watch the sunset and walk the romantic alleys of the old town. I ate at Mesostraro's it was excellent. Thank you ANNA

Good Way to Visit Chania - The bus was comfortable and the guide and driver were very helpful and friendly. Chania is always enjoyable. Missed the old market, which is under renovation. We found the Lake Kournas pretty but not that interesting for an 1.5 hour stop.

Cruelty to animals in front of everyone - including mine - It's incredibly sad to see that horses have to live like this. At over 30° they stand in the blazing sun, have no water and there are just still people who want to be coached through an absolutely crowded old town. how sick is that? We are horse owners ourselves, these poor animals are on the verge of absolute collapse. The owners retreat into the shade, the horses must persevere in the blazing sun. Never again will we visit a city like this, let alone go to San Torino, where still bruised donkeys have to cart lazy people down the stairs...
