- Chania Old Town - Once in the alleys of the old town, we experience the most traditional backstreet culinary spots, visit different districts, such as the Turkish, Venetian, Christian, and Jewish ones, stopping in unique hidden corners and gardens, and having interesting conversations with local artisans skilled in the arts of ceramics, leather, and crafting knives.
We will taste delicious local tapas, known as mezedes, and learn as well about the different influences that all the different civilizations that dominated the island over the centuries have had on the Cretan diet over the years.
