A Must Do! - This tour is fantastic! We were picked up right on time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was so interesting learning about olive oil production and the wine tastings were wonderful. They were even able to accommodate food adjustments for my husband and I, who are vegan (we are fairly strict vegans, but make exceptions when it comes to wine). We met great people and had a great time.
This tour was truly a highlight of our trip and I can not recommend it highly enough! Book it!

Great excursion - This was a great tour as my husband loves olive oil. The tasting was great. Plenty of food. We bought several cans of olive oil amd some olive chutney that was so delicious. The second wine tasting stop was very nice also. Plenty of food and wine was very good. Would definitely recommend. The country side drive was beautiful.

Olives and wine. - Andreas was an excellent host, except he likes Olympiakos lol. The tour company arranged to pick me up near Souda, since I arrived from the ferry. They also had many regular pickup points if you’re staying in Chania. This is one of the happiest tours I’ve taken. Excellent wine, food and olive oil. It might’ve been the wine tasting. Both wineries(one also an olive mill) were beautiful, informative and relaxing. If there was one thing I would like more, is a little more olive side to things. But that’s a personal preferences over the wineries. And I never felt excluded for being a solo guest. Also not the only solo guest.

Blending Cretan culture and taste - A wonderful tour that was led by a tour guide Andres who was knowledgeable and fun sharing his insights into the history and insights of olives and wines. We enjoyed learning about the process of olive oil and the best oil to purchase. The tastings of both oil and wine were exceptional.

Amazing experience! - Amazing tour with a great overview of both the olive oil and wine industry of Crete. My wife and I had a fantastic experience. Tour guide was professional and knowledgable. They picked up and dropped off exactly at right time. Could not have asked for a better experience!

In search of Cretan wine & olives! - What a fantastic way to spend a day in the hills of Chania—savoring local wine, olive oil, and a generous spread of Greek mezes. I’m usually hesitant about small bus tours, worried about spending too much time on the road. But not this time, especially with such an engaging driver and guide. Plus, seeing the 400+ year-old olive tree that’s contributed its prized branches to the modern Olympics was truly impressive. Overall, a big thumbs up for this tour!

Nice day visiting two family wineries. - Very nice wine and olive oil production tour. Our guide Joana was informative and very friendly. The introductions of the wines at each winery was very good. We really enjoyed spending the day outside of Chania seeing the countryside. We enjoyed the tour very much

Worth the money - Don't be an idiot like me and make sure you check where you're staying before you book. This tour is on the western side of the island. I am staying on thr east and drove 3 hours to get here. Fun but long day.
Now to the actual review, tour guide was great and knowledgeable, and the wineries we visited and the olive oil factory we visited were really cool to see and I quite enjoyed it. Lots of laughs and we got enough food in us so we didn't get drunk from all the wine lol. It's a beautiful landscape as well
My favorite had to be the olive tree, I am a huge fan of ancient things so it made me very happy to see it. In all I would do this again

Olive Oil and Wine Extraordinaire - Nice day tour where we learned about the olive oil making history on Crete and the country. We also learned about the wines and tasted about 8 of them over a light lunch.

A tasty experience with room for improvement - This tour isn’t private, but it is conducted in small groups, which keeps things personal enough. The first stop was at the site of the world’s oldest olive tree and an ancient olive oil press. This was interesting, as the guide provided a lot of detailed information.
The second stop was at a winery that also produces olive oil, where we had our first wine and olive oil tasting, accompanied by Cretan snacks. It was a pleasant experience, and our guide gave great explanations of the wines we tasted. The tour of the olive oil production was less informative, and the local guide from the winery seemed disengaged and robotic, which was a bit disappointing.
The third stop was another winery for a wine tasting and a tour of their production facilities, again with some tasty Cretan treats. Here, the wines were presented by the friendly winemaker herself, which added a personal touch to the experience.
The return journey brought us back to our starting point.
The main guide was excellent, not only knowledgeable as a sommelier but also as a local who grew up in the region. However, the olive oil tour at the first winery felt rushed, as if we were part of mass tourism. It was okay but could have been done with more engagement and care.
In terms of value, I found the price a bit steep compared to other experiences.
Nevertheless, I’m happy to give this tour 4 out of 5 stars.
