Definitely book this - What an amazing day trip so much packed in and lots of free time to explore the different places, I would definitely recommend to anyone that wants to explore lots of places for very cheap

Full-Day Bus Trip to Chania, Kournas Lake & Rethymno City - Loved our tour and tour guide, Emmanuela (I think was her name it was hard to hear the info at the beginning some people were talking and the mic was lower). Sadly, we were delayed at the last 2 pick up stops since those groups were late getting to their spot but was nice to see other parts of the west coast of Crete. The only problem I had was in Chania when we were told we had 2 hrs to see the sights and all but no guide or map to help us find these different places. I did finally find a map and saw a few things but wasn't sure how to find the rest because my gps wouldn't work and I didn't want to miss my bus or make them wait. Every place else was easy to get around but because my lunch was served last I didn't get to get down to Lake Kournas. I would recommend this trip but make sure you get a map from your hotel/resort/etc. for Chania. There is a LOT of shopping in both cities.

Great visit but poor admin - Great to see another part of the island! Through Viator I picked a hotel near us for pick-up; but no one came. I called the number at Platanos and they told us we were supposed to be at another hotel. They said they’d sent an email. I didn’t receive the confirmation email until the end of the trip the next day. And in that email, another hotel was indeed listed. All very confusing! Viator issue or Platano issue? I don’t know.

Very nice tour - Very nicely put together tour. A lot of people on the bus and it takes a long time to pick up passengers and drop them off but overall very cool trip and you get to see a lot of different places.

Excellent Tour - Excellent organization. Congratulations! Discover the best cities in Crete by the sea, with plenty of entertainment, restaurants, bars and shops for all tastes.

Lovely Towns, Poor Timing - The three locations that we went to were beautiful. The tour guide and the bus driver were very friendly and informative. More time was needed if you wanted to go into the lake and have lunch. The condition of the bus was horrible.. Many seats did not recline and the hardware on the seats were broken. Also, the air conditioner hardly worked. Lastly, we were a bit frustrated because drop off was supposed to be 6:25 pm, but we did not return until 7:40 pm making us late for a reservation we planned based on the advertised return time.

Long day, good guides, interesting Venetian fortresses and very fast, unsafe driver. - Our English speaking guide was excellent. The driver of the main bus drove extremely fast, crossed over double white lines repeatedly and intimidated other drivers of sedans so they pulled off to the side so he could pass them. We had enough time at the three sites but it is a very long day…almost 12 hours door- to door.

The Eastern Part of Crete - The locations were fabulous. There was enough time given to us to explore each destination. Our main issue is the bus used. The AC was not working that well so it was a little uncomfortable specially during the hottest part of the day. Overall it was still ok.

Fine - +you get too see beautiful city’s and lakes +guide took care of us -are bus broke down and we didn’t get any information

They cancel the activity... - They cancel the activity and we received the information later during the day. We were very disapointed.
