- Chania Cooking Class - First, you’ll be greeted with a homemade refreshment or a Greek coffee from the hostess.
While savoring your drink and cookies, you’ll be introduced to the sourdough bread-making process.
We’ll start by mixing our ingredients to prepare the dough.
Once the dough is ready, each participant will create their own bread loaf, adding any extras like olives, sun-dried tomatoes, seeds, etc.
Afterward, we’ll let the dough rest and take a tour of our olive grove, where you’ll learn about the olive oil harvesting process and the secrets of blending olive oil with herbs.
Our loaves are ready to bake. Into the oven they go.
Meanwhile, we’ll visit our farm to harvest fresh vegetables and prepare a Cretan Salad along with some additional side dishes like Greek fava beans and other seasonal appetizers.
Finally, it’s time to take our loaves out of the oven. Trust me, they smell amazing.
Enjoy your unique bread loaf paired with our herb-infused extra-virgin olive oil. You’ll also have all the side dishes we’ve prepared and plenty of local wine.
Save some room for dessert! A sweet treat is always offered at the end.
