- Elafonissi Beach - Off the southwestern tip of Crete, about 75 kilometers from Chania town, lies Elafonisi beach and small island. It is within walking distance from the mainland, sometimes without even getting one’s toes wet. It was once used by pirates to hide their loot (lafyra) and that is how it got its name. The island (about 1.3 km long and 400 meters wide) is a protected nature reserve and boasts one of the finest sand beaches in the country. More than that, Elafonisi is the only Greek contender in a Tripadvisor list of the world’s 25 best beaches for 2014. This is to be expected: blindingly white-pink sand, turquoise-white lagoon-like waters that ripple as they pick up the breeze, an exotic place with sporadic vegetation against the stark bareness of the Cretan mountains. On the island discover numerous small coves, sandy beaches and interesting rock formations. It is also home to 110 plant species including the protected Androcymbium rechingeri, which is as rare as it sounds.

Memorable tour of Elafonisi and Falasarna - We absolutely loved it!
Christina and Stamatis were amazing! They were very detailed and informative during the day and lovely people
Our highlight of the day was Elafonisi
The snack box was more than enough and very tasty
We had an abundance of cool drinks and water

Best tour for Elafonisi / Falasarna - Best tour if you want to see Elafonisi & Falasrna .. Personalised experience (small groups with minivan). Everything as promised : wifi, snacks, lots of drinks, A/C on board, umbrellas & mats. Smooth ride. Driver was knowledgable and drive was almost smooth and easy. Special thanks goes to Christine Moraitaki who was the perfect guide and went well out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable. Also along the way , she provided an excellent insight into Cretan traditions with the help of videos . Also, you get to see an olive plantation with the olive oil making process, as well as the oldest olive tree in the world. If you go to Crete, this tour is a must-do !!

Just book this tour already ! Best one for Elafonisi / Falassarna - This tour offers a very nice experience, with small groups ( we were around 11) , so you never feel like you're a number. We were always comfortable with Air Conditioning and a smooth ride. Snacks were offered, as well as drinks (numerous times !!) . Driver was knowledgeable about the area . Special thanks goes to Christine Moraitaki who took great care of us and was very knowledgable about the places we visited. She also offered us a taste of Cretan culture wth the help of videos along the way. Above all, this was a very personalised experience and Christine made sure to ask each and every one of us if we had any problems/requests throughout the day. Being at Elafonisi reasonably early to beat the crowds was a super idea, one of the reasons I chose this tour. Highly recommend this tour for the best Elafonisi/Falassarna experience, with also a chance to see the oldest olive tree in the world !

An exceptional tour! - This was one of the best tours we have been on! We highly recommend this tour to learn about Cretan history and culture. Armin gave us a very detailed tour with helpful learning points. We visited 2 main beaches in Chania. Elafonissi was our favourite - a very beautiful beach with clear waters and some pink sand. It is quite easy to move through the waters. We also got to learn about making olive oil and visit the Ancient Olive tree in Vouves which is very symbolic in Crete.

Wonderful day on beautiful beaches - Wonderful tour, we enjoyed the beaches and interesting facts and stories told by the Sea by bus team. Driving was very comfortable with well timed breaks, and we even got excellent lunch boxes and parasols for the beach (great not to have to rent a sunbed for the short time). Highly recommend!

Relaxing and Informative! - We were really considering renting a car until we found this tour. We felt completely taken care of and at ease! We got to the beaches before the crowds and Christine was a really informative guide. Very relaxing and a great preview into Cretan culture.

Attentive service and well-organised tour - Great way to experience more of Crete. Very professional, quick and friendly service when booking the trip. The minivan picked us up at the agreed time from just outside our hotel. Well organised trip to the beaches and the olive oil factory was a great bonus. Informative, super attentive guide and driver catering to our every need and also very fun to talk to. I can highly recommend.
