  Embark on a journey to Crete’s southwest corner to unwind on the pink sand beaches of the quaint island of Elafonisi.

Marvel at the lush green scenery en route to the island as you traverse the stunning Topolia Gorge and pass through numerous quaint, traditional villages. Pause for breakfast in the village of Elos. Upon reaching Elafonisi, enjoy at least 4 hours to relax and swim in the pristine waters. Take a leisurely walk along the pink sand beach. Take advantage of beach kiosks offering food and water to refresh and rejuvenate.

Located just off the main island’s coast, Elafonisi is accessible by wading through the water. Both the beach and island are designated wildlife protection areas. Depart by bus around 16:00, returning to Rethymno with an estimated arrival and hotel drop-off at approximately 18:30.
