Accessibility Friendly!! :) - So happy we found this tour! I tore my ACL right before my trip and was worried about being able to enjoy vacation with crutches. Ingrid and her team went above and beyond to accommodate me, even arranging for a van to transport me down to the beach from the bus and back. She is so knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. The bus driver, Ioannis, expertly navigated the mountains to the beach and back safely. On the way there, we stopped at a bee farm and got to taste local honey. We spent about 3 hours at Elafonissi beach, where you can rent sunbeds under umbrellas for 20 euro, 30 euro for handicapped section. There are plenty of small shacks for coffee, snacks, and beverages. Showers and changing rooms are free, restrooms cost 1 euro (free for handicapped). Restrooms in the mini markets at the parking area are free for everyone. On the way back, we stopped in Elos where we had about half an hour to eat at a local restaurant next to a bakery. Prices were a bit higher than in Chania and the food was ok, but we were hungry and the staff is friendly. At the end of the tour, we were dropped off very close to our hotel. Thank you, Ingrid and Ioannis! We had a great time :)

Highly Recommend - For value for money this was an amazing day out. The description of the tour on the website is what you get, so 4 hours on the most amazing beach I've ever visited. I overheard a tourist on the trip complaining to the lovely guide that we didn't have long enough on the beach but we had exactly the amount of time we booked for. Everything was also very punctual and well organised. The 30 minute stop on the way there wasn't expected, however I'm never going to be disappointed with a chance for more coffee in the morning! The stop did also have lovely views. I highly recommend this tour. This beach is an absolute must-see and you're guaranteed friendly tour guides, a comfortable journey, and some interesting facts about the island of Crete along the way.

Great day with my teens 😅 - Nice Trip with very kind & experienced driver (dangerous way to the beach) and also very good and friendly guide, she knew very good a history of the island and told us the most important things… it was very hot and no shade please on the beach because of lot visitors but the weather it was a great & beautiful place and a very nice full day trip with finally a great meal at the family Taverne ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

More than expected - The whole day was perfect and ran like clockwork. From the pick up point which was very convenient to the drive through the mountains and getting to Elafonissi beach. Then leaving at the designated time to arrive at a little Cretan village for lunch. Just perfect 👌

Do bus tour vs driving yourself - A nice bus tour to Elafinisi. Elia provided interesting information about Crete along the way. You can also rent umbrellas from them for 7 EUR which we recommend. The beach is crowded but less crowded if you walk to the right side. Didn’t see any pink sand but that was expected. Bring water shoes as walking through the water is quite rocky. Do the tour vs. driving yourself as the road can be narrow in some places.

Wonderful (pinkish) beach day - Communication in advance was very good. While the beach was definitely why we were all there, the honey store had an excellent presentation that nicely broke up the trip on the way. I wouldn't have needed the lunch stop on the way back, but perhaps others enjoyed glimpsing another small village. The beach was lovely. We were there early enough that the crowds were light, chairs were available and you could find a patch of sand with no one else around. As others have mentioned, the sand isn't all pink, but take a stroll and you'll definitely find pink patches. There's also a nice (E4) hike heading south along the coast. It is fenced off before you reach the next beach, but it was a pretty and well-marked trail (need good shoes - a lot of rock scrambling). It was a pretty full bus, so there were a lot of pick-ups and drop offs (for which I was on the first pick-up and one of the last drop offs). That made the day a bit long, but as long as you plan for that, it's a relaxing and fairly scenic ride.

Good Tour - Overall we enjoyed the tour. The beach was really nice. It takes about a 15 minute walk to get to the beach from the car park. Probably the only negative thing was that the bus had to pick up so many people on the way so lots of stops, by the time we got to the beach it was extremely crowded. So no lounges or umbrellas on the shore were available. On the way back we stopped at a little town called Elos which we had some amazing traditional Greek food. Then lots of drop off’s on the way back. But overall it was worth it.

Average beach - Average beach with not very good sand. The guide was ok with a lot of information and you stop in a place where you can taste local honey but I wouldn't recommend the tour because the main attraction which is the beach is just an average beach. I would even say bad as the access to the beach is justa dirty road and is not a pink sandy beach.
