Unique, close look at Charleston - Fun, factual tour through the alleys of Charleston. We were able to see a closer view of the neighborhood, and historic buildings and sights, rather than the usual drive-by tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable of historical and current events of this beautiful city. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend - This was a great way to see Charlestown. So many alleys with fabulous homes and history! Places where you would think were not public streets but private. Loved this tour.

Nice stroll through Charleston - What a lovely tour with Captain Jim. We really enjoyed this easy going stroll through Charleston. Jim was a knowledgeable guide and we learned a lot and got off the beaten path from many other tours. Don’t hesitate to spend two hours on the tour.

Great secret passage ways that I didn’t know existed - Captain Jim was an excellent tour guide. The walking tour took us to places and alleys that I didn’t even know existed even if I had walked by them. His knowledge of the history of the city was amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour. It gives a whole different perspective to the city.

Great tour of Charleston Residential Areas - This was an interesting tour - got to see a lot of the residential area of Charleston - lots of cool houses, guide provided a lot of good info. Rainbow Row was fun to see. Guide gave some recommendations for food and drinks after. If you want to learn about the residential area of Charleston, this is a good tour for that.

Small group back alley walking tour - Captian Jim was not a fun person.....I'm sure his information was accurate - but he was monotone and lost most of us with his micro details about the families that owned the homes. We needed /wanted the information...but he lost us with so many names (the son's of the daughter and the spouse and his ......) Actually, it would have been better if he were able to express himself with more ethusiasm. We did not laugh/smile for 2 hours. He was quite good when he talked about his new boat...his new company... :-/ I would reccomend this tour with a different person as a guide.
