Excellent tour. Good food with a history lesson - Very enjoyable tour. Really liked how Faith tied the history of Charleston to the food we were sampling. Length of tour was perfect

A truly special tour with a truly special guide - Everything about the tour was absolutely outstanding, from the architecture, to the history, to the food and drink. But above all else, it was our tour-guide and host Faith who made the evening so uniquely memorable. Her genuine enthusiasm, deep knowledge and wonderful storytelling ability brought Charleston to life and made this one of the most intriguing and magical tours I've ever taken.

Savor the flavor with great history - Great guide Dena. She was very knowledgeable and the food was excellent. Charleston has many great options for low country cuisine.

Nice to work with in light of airline cancellations - Unfortunately we were apart of the online mess up with delta. Our trip was canceled due to no pilots. But I was able to cancel our walking tour for the next day with no problems.

Great relaxing and fun foodie tour - Another wonderful tour from Bulldog. Our guide Megan not only knew history but culinary history as well. It was amazing and interesting and just great fun. The food was delicious and different. Best crab and shrimp dip I've ever had. Don't miss this tourQ

Great way to experience new foods! - This tour was so much fun! Such a great variety of food (well thought out). We got to try things we had never had before and all was so yummy. The history of Charleston our tour guide shared with us was so interesting! Would definitely recommend! Such a great experience!

Good but not great, unfortunately. - We did the food tour with Diane. She was wonderful. Three restaurants and a spice shop. I’ve done several food tours before and, unfortunately, this one, although good, was not great. The first item was a raw oyster. Since only ~47% of people eat raw oysters, I don’t think this was a good choice. I understand that a food tour gives you a chance to taste something you would not normally eat but I don’t think a raw oyster falls in this category. I would estimate that about ½ of the 12 people in the group did not eat it. The other tastings were a burrata appetizer and shrimp and grits. Both were good. The second stop was “The Spice and Tea Exchange.” This is a franchise that has locations in many cities. I’m not sure why this was included in a local food tour. The next two restaurants and their food were fine. We tasted fried chicken sliders, deviled eggs, banana pudding, BBQ, corn bread and collard greens. In my humble opinion one thing missing was she crab soup, which is one of Charleston’s signature dishes. All in all, Diane was great but I don’t think I’d do it again.

Walked for 90 minutes-longer than we were at restaurants. Needed more dialogue and descriptions about the food. - The food was delicious but there was too much food. We stopped at 3 restaurants and had two big servings at each. There was too much walking. It was a very hot day and all that food and walking was too much. We went to a fourth place for chocolate and coffee. Choose restaurants that are closer together and they should serve smaller portions. With the smaller tour maybe the price could be reduced.
