Nice Way to Spend an Evening in Charleston - We really enjoyed visiting the Dungeons and learning about some of Charlestons history. Devlin was a great guide who brought the stories to life.

Well organized and perfect overview - Fantastic! They were organized for each group. Michelle was amazing and if you can request her! Several sites and the dungeon were perfect for learning the history.

Interesting stories, quick stop in the dungeon itself - The dungeon is only one stop of this tour. There are other stops along the route to get to the dungeon, but there could have been more stories told while inside the dungeon itself. I'd recommend going through the museum above to get a deeper understanding of the dungeon itself. Be aware there are some mannequin figures in the dungeon so it makes it a little creepier.

Meh! - Tour guide allowed a couple to bring two dogs that were very distracting and loud. The tour guide was awkward and her presentation didn’t flow. Also it would have made more sense to meet at the dungeon instead of walking for 15 minutes to get there.

Disappointing ghost walk - We have done ghost walk tours before and have had great guides and time . However, this time was boring at times we walked to our destination in silence our guide didn’t talk , offer some information like this building is this or this is the building is known for that. I don’t mean that you need to stop the group and talk but as you’re walking past a landmark just point it out. Also he walked to fast asked him to slow down so we could catch up. The tour guide was very knowledgeable when we got to the places that was part our tour walk.

Very little info for the duration and cost - The tour is very scarce in actual facts. We visited 4 locations (stood next to 3) went into the 4th - the dungeon. The locations were hardly a sight to see. The first one being an alleyway where back in the day enslaved people laid brick by hand (was there any other way at that time..? I didn’t understand what was special about that alley) the other one was a hotel that burned down at one point… also a pretty common occurrence. the walks in between locations took as much time as the informational part itself and the guide didn’t give any info along the way. I also tried googling some of the persons mentioned in the stories ( like the ash man/the gray man) and none of them came up, other than the dungeon part. The gray man of South Carolina is a person/character but has nothing to do with the location we visited. It left me with a feeling that I just paid 45$ for some stories someone made up on the spot. Maybe that is not true but there was no sources/evidence to support any of it.

Would not recommend - Jack told stories without much interest. Inside dungeon didn't tell stories but told us to take pictures & see if we saw anything unusual. It was long and drawn out. Wouldn't do again or recommend to anyone. 7pm on Oct 19
