Fun storytelling experience - We went on the ghost and grave yard tour by bulldog and we had a really fun time. Our guide was Devlin and he was really good at explaining the stories in an engaging way and answer all our questions. I appreciated the story telling vibe of the whole experience. We also got to visit graveyards at night, which was very cool.

Good Scary Stories - Good scary stories about haunted buildings, the dungeon, and the graveyard. Merrill. our guide was an excellent storyteller. It was well worth the walking on a cold night,

You'll Be on the Edge of Your Seat! - We did 2 tours with Bulldog while visiting Charleston on our honeymoon. Both were excellent. First, we did the USS Yorktown Captain's Tour with Bill - he was intelligent, interesting, and funny! We got to see all kinds of cool spaces and learn way more than we would have by just walking around on our own. Then, on our last night, we did the Ghost and Graveyard Tour with Jerry. He was super enthusiastic - what an amazing storyteller! We were on the edge of our seats! He kept the group's attention, told a LOT of ghost stories, and even went above and beyond with his empathy for a customer who was feeling ill (she has to veer off for water due to heat, so he checked on her, and let her know where to meet us back on the tour). Both Bill and Jerry were kind and engaging. We would highly recommend Bulldog tours to anyone visiting Charleston - they are well worth it!

Don't hesitate...you MUST include a Bulldog Tour on your visit to Charleston - If you get a chance to go on ANY Bulldog Tour, definitely go for it! This was a wonderful way to learn about the history of this amazing city and to get a few fun scares while you're at it. If you can possibly ask for a specific tour guide, ask for Sara!! She is incredibly witty, entertaining, knowledgeable, and fun. Her tour totally made our vacation!!

Fun and unique, but manage your expectations - We did the ghost tour with the cemetery visit. Sabian was our guide. He had lots of history and stories to share, and did a good job telling us about the various demons and ghosts associated with Charleston. It was informative and fun. The stories were creepy, but I wouldn’t call it a “scary” tour. This is more of a nighttime walk and tour than a Halloween-ish haunted experience. Sabian was pretty good and you could tell that he enjoyed doing this work (although he talked a little fast at times so he could be a little hard to understand).

Historical but not Scary - Walking through the graveyard! Our guide Drew was good. We expected it to be a little more spooky. It was more of a history driven tour versus a ghost tour.

Terrible experience - Our first stop was by a church fully scaffolded (not your fault) but we stood in front of a fence with two huge construction signs. Tour guide referencing things that we could not see due to the signs. I thought it was a joke, and we stayed there WAY too long. Tour guide was sub-par, but the last stop of the tour was in front of a construction truck with seizure inducing lights and very loud construction in the street. Couldn't hear a word that was said. Adjust the tour to what is happening around you!!! Literally awful.

Disappointed! - The tour was a big disappointment. I have taken multiple tours with Viator that were great, but this was the worst one. The tour could have been far more entertaining potentially but for lack of enthusiasm and dull, monotonous monologue from the tour guide. I am rethinking whether I must go with Viator in the future for any of their organized tours.
