You may bring your own food on board, if you wish, but not drinks; beer, wine, and soft drinks are available for purchase on board at your own expense.
- Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum - While this is not a narrated cruise, the incredible crew is happy to answer questions about some of Charleston’s most historic landmarks that you will see, such as Patriots Point and the USS Yorktown, an Essex-class aircraft carrier that played an important role during World War II.
- Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge - Don’t forget about Charleston’s own modern marvel with an up-close look at the impressive Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in the western hemisphere. You’re welcome to help raise and trim the sails, or you may sit back and enjoy the ride.
- Fort Sumter National Monument - See beautiful homes that line the Battery and famous Fort Sumter, where the first shots of the Civil War were fired, and watch for pelicans performing diving acts.

Meet us at Aquarium Wharf near Concord St. and Calhoun St. in Charleston, SC, for an unforgettable sailing experience aboard our classic 84-foot Tall Ship. Discover the beauty of historic Charleston Harbor as we hoist the sails and navigate past some of the nation’s most iconic sites. Enjoy the sight of playful bottlenose dolphins racing around the harbor as we sail by landmarks like Fort Sumter, USS Yorktown, Arthur J. Ravenel Bridge, and the Battery.
- Welcome to bring your own snacks or picnic; however you can not bring your own beverages
- Guests are welcome to go below deck or stay in the shade of the sails to keep out of the sun
- The Schooner Pride is not wheelchair accessible. We will do our best to accommodate disabled persons, but there are 5 stairs then a gangplank to cross to board. The “head” is also below deck and you will need to negotiate stairs to use it.

The Schooner Pride is docked at the floating dock at The Aquarium Wharf to the left of the SC Aquarium. Closest parking is in the Aquarium garage at 24 Calhoun Street or at the parking meters along Concord, Charlotte, Laurens and Washington Streets.

Beauty on the South Carolina water - Fun crew and beautiful day on the water. Lots of dolphin, pelicans and a huge jumping fish. Had fun learning how to hoist sails.

Great experience. - The crew were wonderful. They really made it an enjoyable experience. We were able to see several dolphins and the perfect weather certainly didn't hurt.

Great trip - It was a beautiful day, great trip on a sailboat. The 3 people who worked on the boat were funny, friendly and informative. It was not a tour, so they answered what they knew. We did see dolphins but more fun was helping to raise the sails. My friend and I, both 67, helped and boy was that fun!!!

A View of Charleston from the water💖 - This little gem of a cruise was just right for my taste ..I don't like a whole bunch of people and this was perfect! 12 people and it was my surprise birthday gift from my best friend💕we cruised the harbor on a mild day and the staff were phenomenal. They didn't get all talky and trying to point out every landmark..they just allowed you to enjoy the scenery while still being social as well. Ben on our side and he had all the I do we needed. This is a must do if you want to see Charleston from the water. 90 minutes of sail away relaxation.

Girl’s trip! - My 60 year old plus friends assisted Thomas with the sails! The crew was awesome. Lots of laughs and do.Phil sightings.

Nice, relaxing sail - It was a nice sail around Charleston harbor. The crew was great and the views were beautiful. I would just not call it a dolphin cruise, because there was no guarantee we’d see any. We did happen to see some, but not until the very end.

Boat ride - The description of this should be updated to a relaxing boat ride
We did see dolphins and the crew is very nice
But it’s not a tour as advertised, we did not see the fort and very little explanation of what we were seeing
