2 Hours Well Spent - Really enjoyed the sunset cruise. The narrator was great and funny. 2 hours was perfect and commensurate for the price. My friends and I were very pleased. It was a nice experience for everyone on board. This is also nice for a date night.

An Absolute Blast! - This was the most unique and entertaining harbor cruise we’ve ever done….and we’ve done many dozens over out fifty years together. Definitely not a history cruise (although we did an excellent one yesterday) but Mike, the captain, burst into many entertaining tales of the surrounding area, including ones about ghosts, pirates, and the Battle of Fort Sumter….AND the show THE OUTER BANKS. Beautiful scenery, entertaining stories, a great playlist…what more could you want?

Best thing I did while in Charleston - If you're trying to decide whether or not to go on a sunset cruise, or which company to use, let me settle that for you right now. Go on the Sandlapper sunset cruise without hesitation! Our captains were Mike and Robby and our host was Victor. We could not have asked for a better crew or a better cruise. The day of my cruise (Oct 2), it was gray and overcast all day. The sky was still very full of clouds at check-in time. Several of us were casually joking about how we should have come the day before, because it was such a pretty day. Little did we know what beauty was in store! The cruise set sail exactly on time. Our boat had plenty of people on it but was not FULL and was not overly crowded at all. Once we set sail and people stood up, there were zero issues with space (not that there were any with everyone seated, I'm just saying). We started seeing dolphins as soon as we pulled out of the dock. There were probably 7 or 8 sightings over the length of the cruise, maybe a few more. We sailed under Revenel Bridge and got some very nice views; got up close and personal with the Yorktown; sailed past Fort Sumter; went up in a channel in Mt. Pleasant; sailed around the harbor for 2 hours and enjoyed some of the best weather and WITHOUT A DOUBT the most amazing and beautiful sunset I have ever seen. The tunes were perfect. The commentary was hilarious and informative. The crew was just the best. I would absolutely go on this cruise every night if I could. I can not recommend it highly enough or say enough good things about it or them. Victor, especially, went above and beyond and proved he is just an overall good human being. Thank you so much.

Beautiful Coastal Tour- Could be more Informative - The tour was a beautiful trip around both side of the coast in front of Charleston as the sun set. The boat was well designed and set up to provide all passengers a view. Sunset was well timed for photos. The boat captain and narrator was entertaining, but could have had a better knowledge of the history and environmental sites.

Not the boat in the photo! - I guess that since our group was smaller (around 50), they put us on a small boat than the photo shows in their advertising - the size of a typical pontoon boat. It was OK...just not good for standing or walking around. JUST enough bench seats for everyone. The captain and tour guide were both very enthusiastic and had great senses of humor. (Victor and Captain Bobby). However some of the humor went a little too far and was offensive to some. They seemed like great guys, and probably would "tame" it a bit if they knew. (example: telling EVERY SINGLE COUPLE when he took their pictures to "come on!! Give her some tongue!!") It wore thin after a while....
