Bryan, this experience highlights the women who have made significant political, social, and economic impacts in this pioneering city. Enjoy a glass of wine, beer, or a cocktail at a wine bar founded by female entrepreneurs and learn about the women who were active during the Prohibition era in Charleston. The tour continues through the historic district, visiting sites linked to remarkable women and their inspiring stories of resilience and strength. The journey concludes at a second bar. While the tour focuses on the historic women of Charleston, it offers an engaging experience for guests of all backgrounds and is the first of its kind in the city.

Interesting history with rare stories - Gia has a lot of knowledge about architecture and general Charleston history so she shared some of that in addition to women’s history. She even helped me find an off the beaten path restaurant!

Fun and Good times - My mom and I booked this during Easter weekend. We were on the tour with a group of four girlfriends and had the best time. Gia was our guide, she was so fun and knowledgeable about everything Charleston. On the tour she really made sure to highlight marginalized and underrepresented women in Charleston history. We started the journey with a wine flight and took some frozen wine to go on the walk- so overall it was wonderful. Highly recommend. Walk is easy and for all levels of ability.
