• Morris Island Lighthouse - We will travel to the north end of Folly Island as we walk the graffiti road for a beautiful vista of Morris Island Lighthouse. Enjoy Folly in it’s original, non-civilized state.

And you never know, we might bump into John B if they are shooting for Outer Banks.

This walk is 1/4 mile, then we will traverse a sand dune onto a secluded part of the beach.

Discover Folly Island from top to bottom. Many visitors to Charleston are unaware of the stunning beaches in the area! Folly Beach offers a vibe reminiscent of Key West! The journey begins with a half-mile walk to the northern tip of Folly, offering a breathtaking view of the Morris Island Lighthouse, a filming location for several scenes from Outer Banks. Next, stroll along the boardwalk extending into the ocean on Folly Beach Pier. How about a margarita or some ice cream? Then, explore the town’s surfer shops at your leisure. Taco Boy is a recommended spot, but lunch is your choice. Finally, enjoy a drive to the southern end of Folly and the county park.

Personalize your adventure in advance and add extra hours if desired. Beach chair rentals are also available for a relaxing time by the surf.
