As you explore, your guide will provide rich information about the profound history, distinctive culture, appealing architecture, and relevant geography of Charleston and the extended lowcountry region, ultimately creating a comprehensive image of how this city’s challenging history has molded the city that is now loved by tourists globally. You’ll enjoy sights of some of the city’s ancient places of prayer, historical burial grounds, playhouses, the strongholds of Charleston harbor, and the pre-Civil War estates that survey the waters of the Cooper and Ashley rivers, among other historical and scenic locations.
