Take a leisurely 2-hour walk around the charming, old-fashioned streets of the historic district including the French Quarter and the residential zone ‘South of Broad’. Entrance to the Powder Magazine Museum is part of the cost of your walking tour! Simply present your ticket at the entrance. Feel free to tour the museum at your own pace before or after your walking tour. It’s situated at 79 Cumberland St. Check their website for more details and operating hours.

It was better than Disneyland - We had a tour guide named Al. He was extremely knowledgeable, and that made us extremely fortunate.
I highly suggest you use this man for your tour.

Amaz - This is truly how you should start downtown Charleston!! Al is the best tour guide in the city. I went on multiple tours, no one was able to compare to Al’s knowledge, and finesse is his delivery of the history of the city. After Al’s tour I found myself actually telling people about the history of Charleston. A must do if are touring!!! Hopefully you have the pleasure of having Al as your tour guide to make it extra special.

Al is a fantastic tour guide! - Al was very informative and friendly. I really enjoyed all the details he pointed out that you couldn’t know without someone showing you. He also made sure to stop in shady areas to keep us out of the hot sun!
