Highlights
  • The Original Ghostwalk of Charleston - No “book” stories on our tour as in our 42 years of being in business we have our own unique yet historical stories of Charleston. All stories are told where it happened and we have proof to show you. We started ghost tours in Charleston and do not have tours in multiple cities. Our guides are licensed so you know you will have a quality and seasoned tour guide. We take pride in our product and it shows!
  • St. Philip’s Church - This is where it all begins. We have photographic evidence of 2 different spirits at this location that we will tell you all about. Sometimes things happen here that are not explainable and our customers are left with vivid thoughts of what just happened.
  • The Powder Magazine - We tell you about the ghosts that inhibit the magazine and sometimes have noises happen from the inside.

Additional Information

Our ghost tour company has the distinction of being the oldest in operation in Charleston, tracing our roots back to 1979. We prioritize quality over quantity in our tours. Our focus is on the supernatural, so those interested in an abundance of historical information are recommended to participate in our history tour. We provide ‘in the moment’ evidence drawing from spiritual occurrences and phenomena that have transpired. On occasion, unusual events may even take place during the tour. Our tour guides are not only licensed by the city of Charleston but also bring years of experience to the table. As a small business - not a franchise operation - we take pride in being Charleston’s pioneering ghost tour company. Our tour guides are not merely knowledgeable, but deeply passionate about the history and hauntings of Charleston. Our aim is to make your experience so compelling that you’ll want to come back repeatedly. While our operation is not large enough to garner thousands of reviews, we do promise the best ghost tour in town. Chuck named Charleston the Holy City by the Sea; our faith compels us to strive for excellence in ghost touring. We eagerly await your choice to adventure with us!

Awesome experience! - We’re local and love the fact that this company has been here for years and our tour was led by a lady that grew up in the area. She had so much firsthand knowledge about life in Charleston and the history. We toured with our grown children and friends and even came home with a surprise photo of a spirit that appeared in pictures we took in the graveyard! Definitely a great experience!

Spooky time in Charleston. - We had a great time on our Ghostwalk Tour. We chose this company because it’s a local, family owned business. Our guide, Tricia was extremely knowledgeable of the area and shared so many phenomenal experiences about local sightings. The full Harvest moon added even more spooktacular fun for us! The cemetery visits were awesome. We will definitely do this tour again on a future visit to Charleston.

My Favorite Ghost Tour! - Exceptional and fun tour as always! Trish is the best in the business! Her photos are amazing! Remember if it's your expectation on any ghost tour that you're going to have a paranormal experience, it doesn't always happen. I have toured with the majority of guides in the Charleston area and although most are exceptional, Trish is my favorite. As a part-time paranormal investigator myself, I find Trish refreshing and an exceptional tour guide. Her knowledge of the History of our beloved Charleston is worth going on the tour for, and yes we have had many "experiences" with Trish that could not be explained!

Very fun and educational night - Took my wife and friends on their first Ghost Walk in Charleston over the Thanksgiving weekend. We had a wonderful time and Trish was an abundance of knowledge! Being a local and history buff myself i was thrilled to hear and see some things I hadn’t heard before. Activity was minimal our night but did have some. Highly recommend Ghostwalk Charleston.

Fantastic - I couldn't recommend this tour highly enough. The extra level of care put into the customer service through the booking process was incredible. The tour day had thunderstorms and heavy rain but we received frequent updates regarding whether or not the tour would go ahead. The tour guide was easy to find via her excellent instructions. And the tour was exciting and informative...I was sufficiently spooked by the end of it!

Good history lesson - Trish is an enthisiastic, energetic tour guide. She obviously knows a lot of Charleston history and I learned new things I had not heard on other tours. She has good pictures of possible sightings, especially if you are a believer. She had us laughing and sharing stories.

Disappointing - I feel certain Tricia is a nice lady and truly believes the disjointed, rather silly stories she tells about ghosts causing Charleston’s street lights to flicker and showing up as orbs in the grainy photos she spends a good majority of the tour showing on her ipad. However, nice as she may be, I feel she will most certainly berate me for what I’m about to say here or tell me that I’m reviewing the wrong group (I’m not). She actually had me intrigued with her story of the crooked steeple at St. Phillips Church and the modern-day ghost haunting the near-by parking lot. But after that, the tour was mostly about conversations she has had with friends and family regarding those photos of orbs on her ipad. Well that, and her loudly chastising Robert E. Lee for not flickering a light as we stood across the street staring at the Mills House Inn. We honestly wished we had slipped off, gotten some ice cream, and walked down by the battery instead. It certainly would have been a better use of our time in Charleston.

Strange and disappointing - We were interested in the history not exactly of finding ghosts! Guide showed many many pictures of ghosts on her iPad! We covered the same 5 blocks back and forth to meeting places. We wanted the history of the paranormal events.
