Loved by a local - We loved this tour! I am a local to Charleston and booked this tour for my mom, who was visiting. I learned a ton and would definitely do this tour again, even without out-of-town guests.

Wonderful Tour in a Wonderful City - Kay Abrams was our tour guide and she was phenomenal. My wife and I learned so much about this city. She fit so much information into two hours while keeping it fun. We are so happy with our experience and will recommend her to anyone who comes to the area.

BEST part of our Charleston visit - Do This Tour on Day One - Learn from our mistake - do not waste your money on the touristy carriage tours around Market Street. We did one of those tours the first day of our trip and I told the front desk clerk how disappointing it was. He recommended this tour with Kay Abrams and wow what a tour it was. Kay is knowledgeable, flexible and eager to make sure she knows exactly what you’re interested in so she can cover it. Her tours are customized to your interest. And to top it off she’s a nice, fun person too. We had a party of four and we all raved about the tour. We also agreed this tour was the BEST part of our visit to Charleston. We plan to come back and do another tour with her.

Engaging tour - Kay gave us a wonderful walking tour of Charleston. She is so knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much about the buildings and homes, architecture, and the famous people who lived in or visited Charleston. She made the tour very entertaining with her story-telling style of guiding. Highly recommend!

Charleston Walking Tour/Kay Abrams - Kay is AMAZING!!! We had a group of 7, and she took us on a 2 hour walking tour. We had the best time. She is super knowledgeable about the history of Charleston and weaves in fun facts throughout the tour. She is funny and very smart. She showed us places we would not have visited on our own, she made recommendations for things to do in the city after the tour and was eager to make suggestions and answer questions. We didn’t make it one block without seeing someone she knew she would comment that we had the best you guide in the city!!!

Walk with Kay! - Strange as it is, a very cold day in Charleston led to an incredible experience with our guide, Kay. We delayed our tour by four hours to let the temperature get above freezing, which also got us an exclusive tour. The three of us moved around “South of Broad” at a perfect pace while learning a lot of super interesting facts from this former teacher. Kay is a natural at adapting to the personalities of those she so skillfully guides around this city. We both came away with a deep understanding of how Charleston got to where it is today. We also learned things about its history that amazed us, while clarifying many details we had learned in school so long ago. We both give this tour our highest rating and encourage anyone visiting Charleston to not just take a walking tour, but to do it with the best of the best!

This is the tour you want - We were fortunate to do a two person tour of historic Charleston with Kay. Kay was extremely well informed, personable and easy to spend time with. The tour was nearly two hours long and covered a large part of the historical section of Charleston including obscure private alleys and walkways. Kay seemed to know everyone we encountered which added to the vibe that we were getting an inside view of the town. Highly recommend.
