Great option for foodies & history buffs (especially if you're gluten-free!) - Chef Forrest was extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions, including Celiac Disease, and is very knowledgable about the history of Charleston and its food! He was so kind and the food was truly phenomenal. I couldn't recommend a better food tour in Charleston, especially if you are gluten free! You will leave very full & smarter than you came, and as a plus, wine is included!

Enlightening and delicious experience - Forrest was engaging, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. He took us through the back streets of Charleston and we learned a lot about the history and architecture and the evolution of the foodie culture in Charleston. The meal he made us with the wine pairings was so delicious! Highly recommend!

Above and beyond - Forrest is amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and sharing. His tour was the perfect way to see some of the lesser seen Charleston sights while also helping to understand how the history of Charleston shaped the culinary scene. And then the meal he shared demonstrated exactly how all those aspects come together to make a cuisine. Plus, he wowed my girlfriend with a discussion about Lean and Kaizen process improvement in the restaurant world. I promise, no matter what your interests, you will leave this tour satisfied on all fronts. You will have fun, you will be full, and if you choose you will be less than sober at the end. Would do again in a heartbeat. Worth every penny and better than any food tours I’ve been on before.

A must do….. - One of the best things we did while in Charleston! Chef Forrest really showcased his passion for Charleston, not only in its cuisine but also its history and culture. Unfortunately for Chef, the other party schedule for the same day as us cancelled, so we got our own private tour followed by a private meal. The food was incredible and the wine pairings perfect. Would highly recommend you schedule to spend the day with Chef Forrest while in Charleston. You won’t be disappointed.
