The Early Morning Adventure

As a seasoned traveler, I’ve had my fair share of early morning adventures, but the Mount Batur Sunrise Hike was something truly special. The day began with a 3 AM pickup from my cozy villa, courtesy of Wira, our punctual and careful driver. The drive to the base camp was a quiet one, with the world still asleep and the stars twinkling above. I was filled with anticipation, knowing that this was going to be a day to remember.

It was a simple yet satisfying meal, made all the more special by the stunning backdrop of the rising sun.

The sunrise itself was a spectacle of colors, painting the sky in hues of orange, pink, and purple. It was a moment of pure magic, one that I will cherish forever. Nengah, ever the professional, captured the moment perfectly with his camera skills, ensuring we had memories to take home. After the sunrise, we explored the crater and the hot steam vents, with Nengah guiding us safely and sharing fascinating insights about the volcano’s history.

A Relaxing Soak

After descending the mountain, our adventure was far from over. Wira whisked us away to the natural hot springs, a perfect way to unwind after the hike. The warm and cool pools were a welcome relief for our tired muscles, and the free welcome drink was a nice touch. It was a peaceful oasis, where we could relax and reflect on the incredible morning we had just experienced.

As we made our way back to the villa, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the experience. The combination of the challenging hike, the awe-inspiring sunrise, and the soothing hot springs made for an unforgettable day. Wira and Nengah were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure we had the best time possible.
