A great way to spend some time in downtown Chattanooga - Very engaging and enjoyable exhibits. The Museum provided insight into the Medal of Honor and many of those who have earned the medal. The short film highlights some of those who have earned this medal and their acts of service and heroism. My family and I were in the museum for approximately two hours and found the exhibits and the museum personnel to be very knowledgeable. Ryan was exceptionally helpful and made our visit truly memorable.

Powerful, Inspiring, Humbling - I visited with two of my children (ages 9 and 1). Everyone had an exceptional time. There is even a fun scavenger hunt for kids. My eldest said as soon as we left that he can't wait to go back. The museum is beautifully laid out and well organized. Tons of interactive maps, large easy to read displays, wealth of artfully delivered information around these heroes. We had the pleasure of Mr. Terry's assistance & guidance in parts of the museum. I cannot thank this man enough. He shared some remarkable stories and information we would have missed venturing on our own. If you love your country & appreciate those that have served, this museum is a MUST visit in Chattanooga. The location is perfect! 'Just next to the Aquarium / downtown area with ample parking spaces & handicap friendly. God bless America!

Great Museum - Well Worth a Visit - I highly recommend visiting here. I visited with friends & we spent about 2 hours here. The exhibits really highlight those who received the medal of honor, their stories & their dedication. For example - Sergeant York, Astronaut Dick Scobee & Dr. Mary Walker are a few of those highlighted. The museum is in a nice location in downtown Chatanooga & is close to the Aquarium. We found parking in a garage a block or 2 away.

Take a hanky. - Phenomenal. If you have ever loved anyone in the military or if you have served, bring a hanky. The many detailed exhibits of Medal of Honor recipients will bring out the emotions. Many video interviews, authentic artifacts, and stunning recreations. I’m not sure but I think the introductory film was narrated by Tom Selleck. He did a wonderful job. I saw a small group of young people getting a lecture/tour and they were leaning in attentively. The staff is kind and knows their stuff
