An Interesting & Worthwhile Visit - Great way to spend a few hours in downtown Chattanooga. The tour is self-paced, with videos highlighting recipients courage, patriotism, etc. I spent an hour or so touring the museum, but I could have taken much longer. The history of the Medal was also interesting, and the videos from Medal recipients detailing their heroic acts are moving and amazing.

Highly recommend - If you are a military buff or a patriotic citizen this is a great place to visit. It took approximately 1 to 2 hours to view, you can do longer or shorter it’s your choice. The fee to get in is inexpensive. We highly recommend checking it out.

Give it the gravitas it deserves, enjoy and learn worth the time and money!! - This is for people old enough to appreciate the gravity of the service and sacrifices made. Go when you have ample time to read and process the details surrounding each act of heroism, it is a small building but if properly appreciated it will take a bit of time to make it through. It is humbling to think of what we grumble about on a daily basis and the lack of respect for our hero’s and our flag. Take teens here, not little ones… and discuss with them as you go along. It was an emotional experience for me.

A great way to spend some time in downtown Chattanooga - Very engaging and enjoyable exhibits. The Museum provided insight into the Medal of Honor and many of those who have earned the medal. The short film highlights some of those who have earned this medal and their acts of service and heroism. My family and I were in the museum for approximately two hours and found the exhibits and the museum personnel to be very knowledgeable. Ryan was exceptionally helpful and made our visit truly memorable.
