Great tour for those wanting to explore Bangkok's food scene - We absolutely loved this tour! Our guide, Jojo was fantastic. She chose foods that were delicious and was able to accommodate our dietary restrictions. She also taught us how to approach a food market and what to get. We were full for hours after this tour! After, Jojo even helped us navigate public transit to get back to our hotel. She was so kind, and we cannot recommend this tour highly enough.

Wonderful tastes and personal attention - Nok is an amazing guide. She took the time to figure out our taste preferences and determine how adventurous we are. Based on that she lead us on a tasteful (pun intended) tour. She has detailed knowledge of the foods and was happy to share. We had a chicken curry and she pointed out the hint of cinnamon in the meat. The downside to the tour is that you get too much food to eat and end up leaving some on the plate. We truly enjoyed our time with Nok and have recommended to friends coming next month that they setup a tour with her.

Amazing food tour with the loveliest host ever - Oh my god! Don't hesitate and book this food tour!!! Sudarat is the most lovely host you can imagine. Very kind, speaks English so well and is a total people person. She's travelled a lot herself and is a great conversationalist. And the food she takes you to taste, YUMMMM 😋. She goes out of her way to cater to your every need and I had an amazing evening with her. Highly recommended and I would go again if I would visit Bangkok another time. Thank you Sudarat ❤️

Fab food tour - Withlocals food tour - We had a fab time on the food tour with Araya. She explained so much about Thai culture and food,.. and tirelessly answered our endless questions with a smile. We then had the difficult job of choosing which dishes to eat! The tuktuk ride to the Michelin soup restaurant was fun,.. and we just managed to squeeze in the delish drinks and soup. A great experience thank you Araya!

Great food tour with Araya - Had a great introduction to Bangkok with Araya. She answered all my questions about Thailand and Bangkok. She took us to some really great food spots and we had a lot of delicious dishes. She was so personable and told us about her life in Thailand. This tour was perfect for us as we were staying at a hotel very close by. Would definitely recommend Araya for your experience around Thailand

Amazing experience and value! - Araya was so friendly, cheerful, and helpful. She answered all of our questions about Thai food and culture. It was so much calmer having a private guide and getting to interact one on one. All of the food we tried was so delicious, authentic, and unique! We never would have tried it on our own without this tour.

A gracious and kind host on our first day - Araya met us on a hot and steamy afternoon our first day in Bangkok. We are jet lagged but eager, and at our pace, she guided us through the market, introducing us to foods and flowers that make up the richness of the Thai culture. Thank you, Araya, for not insisting we must eat durian, and for sprinkling in the lovely stories of your family and childhood. Araya's English is perfect, and this gracious host left us feeling adventurous for the rest of our stay in Thailand.

A Culinary Adventure to Remember in Bangkok with Araya! - Our food tour with Araya was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we met her, she made us feel like old friends, guiding us through the bustling streets of Bangkok with warmth, enthusiasm, and a deep knowledge of the city’s food culture. The tour was thoughtfully curated, giving us a perfect blend of classic Thai staples and hidden gems that only a local would know. Each stop brought something unique, from aromatic street food stalls to cozy family-run eateries. Araya’s explanations of the ingredients, cooking techniques, and history behind each dish added a layer of appreciation that made every bite even more delicious. Beyond the food, Araya shared insights about Thai culture and traditions, making the experience both educational and heartwarming. She was attentive to everyone’s preferences and dietary needs, ensuring the whole group had an unforgettable time. This tour wasn’t just about tasting amazing food; it was about immersing ourselves in the heart and soul of Bangkok. We left with full stomachs, happy hearts, and memories we’ll treasure forever. If you’re in Bangkok, don’t miss the chance to join a food tour with Araya—it’s an absolute must-do!

Average Market Navigation Assistance and expensive - Unfortunately I would not recommend this tour for this money. We were looking for a tour on Monday, and this was one of the few available options, which was a plus. We arrived later in the evening, and our guide, Jojo, was very flexible in accommodating an evening tour, which was a really nice touch. She accompanied us to the market, answering our questions thoroughly whenever we had them, although she didn’t offer much commentary on her own. The market she chose was a temple anniversary celebration, which was a nice find. Once inside, she guided us to several food stands and explained the dishes we would try. The experience was supposed to last two hours, but it felt like the first hour—traveling to the market—was counted as part of the tour which was not clear at the beginning. While the tour was helpful, in my opinion, it was quite expensive for what it offered.
