As you trek along the river, crossing its tributaries multiple times, you’ll encounter fellow travelers, yaks, and local residents. You’ll eventually reach the village of Phakding, where you’ll spend the night.
Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3438m/11280ft) 5-6 hours
Irish Pub - Continue your trek through a subtropical forest rich with rhododendrons and birch trees. You’ll cross one of the Dudh Koshi river’s tributaries and trek up to Namche Bazaar. Along the way, you’ll catch distant views of Mount Everest and the Lhotse range. You’ll stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Namche Bazaar to Everest View Point Hotel (4000m/13000 ft) 5-6 hours
Tengboche Gompa - Today, embark on a hike to the Everest View Hotel, a day trip that promises breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Kongde, Thamserku, Lhotse, Nuptse, and other majestic peaks. For your acclimatization day, we’ll head to Namche Bazaar, a vibrant Sherpa village. Ascending approximately 300 meters to Khumjung, you’ll be treated to awe-inspiring panoramas of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Kongde, Thamserku, and more. Along the way, immerse yourself in the local culture by visiting monasteries and schools that dot the route.

Irish Pub - Wake up early to admire the magnificent mountain views. After a delightful breakfast in the mountains, you’ll start trekking back along the same trail. You’ll descend through dense rhododendron forests, stopping at several tea houses to rest and enjoy some tea. You’ll arrive in Namche Bazaar before evening, where your guide will lead you to explore this ancient Sherpa marketplace.
Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2860m/9186 ft) 6-7 hours
Everest Beauty Salon - After an early breakfast, you’ll descend to the Dudh Koshi river, crossing its several tributaries. Along the way, you’ll pass through many Sherpa settlements and encounter other tourists, locals, and domestic animals. You’ll reach Lukla by evening for an overnight stay.
