- Place Outa el Hammam - The central square of Chefchaouen is bustling with life and offers a variety of reasonably priced restaurants for lunch or dinner. This spacious square houses the Kasbah (fortress) and the city’s first mosque.
- Ras El Maa Waterfall - The city’s main fountain and the primary reason for its existence in this location.
- Grand Mosque - Built in the 15th century, Chefchaouen’s Grand Mosque was commissioned by Moulay Mohamed Ben Ali Ben Rachid, the son of the city’s founder. It features an octagonal minaret, which is unique compared to the typical square minarets found in many of the nation’s mosques. The design was influenced by Andalusian styles brought by Muslims from Spain. Constructed from stone, its brown and beige hues contrast with the nearby blue and white buildings. Admiring the mosque is a top activity in the city. Please note that non-Muslim visitors are not allowed to enter the mosque.
- Spanish Mosque - If time allows, a hike uphill offers one of the best sunset views in Morocco.
