Barrage Sidi Chahed - Along the drive, your driver will stop at a panoramic viewpoint of the Sidi Chahed Dam, where you can take photos of the gorgeous Mikkes Valley and Chahed Lake that was created by the building of a dam in the 1990s. At the viewpoint, you can purchase a refreshing glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice and see souvenirs made by local artisans.
Province of Ouezzane - Your driver will stop in the town of Ouazzane for a coffee break or an early lunch if you are hungry. In spite of being a small town, Ouazzane is rich with history. It is famous for being a popular Sufi and Jewish pilgrimage site. It was also the center of the Morocco independence movement against French colonialism.
Laghdir - Just before arriving in Chefchaouen, you will drive through an area filled with olive tree groves. If you would like to buy a bottle of fresh-pressed olive oil, your driver can stop at one of the many local olive oil producers along the side of the road.
Chefchaouen - Your first stop in Chefchaouen will be at an overlook that provides an amazing viewpoint to see the entire city of Chefchaouen. Your driver will stop so that you can take photos of the city, and you are welcome to pose in the photo with Chefchaouen in the background.
Chefchaouen Medina - When you arrive in Chefchaouen, your driver will take you to your accommodation so you will have a chance to check in and relax after the long drive.

Chefchaouen to Fes
Chefchaouen - You will enjoy a Moroccan breakfast, with either Moroccan mint tea or coffee, at a charming small cafe in the center of Chefchaouen. You will have a chance to feed the cats who want to share your breakfast.
Chefchaouen Medina - After breakfast, you will have free time to wander the picturesque blue streets of Chefchaouen. You can visit the main square with its spectacular casbah, its gardens and neighboring mosque. You can walk the narrow streets and take photos of the many creative ways the residents have decorated the streets to go along with the bright blue colors on the walls. There are also lots of small shops with handicrafts where you can shop for souvenirs.
Ras El Maa Waterfall - Just a few steps from the Chefchaouen medina is the lovely Ras El Maa Waterfall. It runs under a bridge located on the street from the medina. Just below the bridge, you will see the local women who have brought their hand-woven wool blankets to wash under the fresh-flowing water of the falls. You can also buy a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice from a vendor parked near the bridge.
Spanish Mosque - If you are feeling energetic, you can take a 700 metre, 15-minute hike up to the Spanish Mosque for more spectacular views of Chefchaoen. The trail is paved, with several sets of stairsteps. It is a slightly steep climb in some spots, so you should be in good shape to make the hike.
Chefchaouen Medina - Lunch: Back in the medina, your guide will point out several good places for lunch (on your own).
Cascades d’Akchour - After lunch, if you would like, you can visit the spectacular Akchour Waterfalls, about a 45 minute drive from Chefchaouen. Chefchaouen, or “Chaouen” as it is often called by Moroccans, is a popular tourist destination with its picturesque blue color, visible from far away and even more dramatic up close. The name Chefchaouen refers to the shape of the mountain tops above the town that look like the two horns (chaoua in Berber) of a goat. There are approximately two hundred hotels catering to tourists who flock here from all over the world. You will love wandering the narrow streets, seeing the blue-washed homes and their splashes of color from flowers and street art. There are also charming cafes to sit at and people watch. The local people are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. The cool mountain air is a refreshing change from cities at the lower elevations of Morocco. A chance to walk these streets is a once-in-a-lifetime dream come true, and it is our honor to make it a reality for you.
