Tangier - Chefchaouen
Chefchaouen - Arrival at the port of Tangier, followed by a city tour before heading to the charming fortified town of Chefchaouen. Known for its unique architecture, Chefchaouen is famous for its houses painted in various shades of blue. It is one of the most picturesque towns in the northern Rif region. Day 2: Chefchaouen - Midelt
Midelt - The following morning, the journey continues to Fez, Morocco’s oldest imperial city. The route includes sightseeing in Fez, then traveling through Ifrane and the expansive cedar forests en route to Midelt for an overnight stay.
Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud - Merzouga
Merzouga Desert - The trip proceeds through the northern Atlas mountains along the Ziz River Valley, with numerous stops to admire the stunning views of mountains, valleys, river scenes, the Ziz stream, and a vast oasis.
The journey continues through the city of Er Rachidia towards the eastern desert city of Merzouga Sahara. Overnight accommodation is provided in a hotel with the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes just beyond the hotel’s back door, offering the chance to explore the smaller dunes on foot.
Merzouga Wonders
Merzouga Desert - After breakfast and a refreshing shower at the hotel, a tour around Erg Chebbi begins. The itinerary includes visiting a local house to enjoy Gnawa music, originally from Ghana and Sudan, exploring abandoned mines, meeting nomadic Berbers, and visiting palm tree oases. Around lunchtime, the return to Merzouga is planned, followed by lunch and relaxation. Later, camels await to take guests on a sand dune adventure. The night will be spent in a camp with drum music in the heart of the Sahara, providing a perfect opportunity to capture stunning sunset and sunrise photos. Upon arrival at the camp, a climb to the high dunes to witness the sunset is planned, with overnight accommodation in nomadic tents.
Merzouga - Fez
Fes - Witness the sunrise over the Sahara desert, followed by a camel ride back to the hotel for breakfast. The return journey begins, with an overnight stay in Fez to enjoy the city after the long trip back from the desert.
Day 6: Fez - Tangier
Tangier - After breakfast, departure to Tangier and transfer to the hotel or port of Tangier, marking the end of the services.
