Highlights
  • Chefchaouen - Starting from Tangier, this full-day trip takes you to Chefchaouen, or Chaouen as it is often called by Moroccans. It’s a popular tourist spot due to its proximity to Tangier and the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. We’ll begin our journey by exploring the medina, the main attraction for most visitors to Chefchaouen. Strolling through the town with its sky-blue walls, originally painted by Jewish immigrants, offers a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of larger cities. Chefchaouen is also a favored shopping destination, offering unique local handicrafts like wool garments and woven blankets that can’t be found elsewhere in Morocco. The homemade goat cheese from the area is also a hit with tourists. We’ll visit the waterfall (Ras el Maa) to the east of the medina, a popular spot for locals to cool off, chat, and do their laundry, including washing carpets on sunny Sundays.
  • Private Tours. Day Trip. Transfers Door to Door. Guided Tours. Safety First - After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to the ruins of an old mosque (Jemaa Bouzafar) on a hill behind the waterfall, which offers a panoramic view of the blue-rinsed houses and buildings.
  • Chefchaouen Medina - In the late afternoon, after enjoying Moroccan tea at a famous coffee shop, you’ll board your vehicle and return to your original departure point in Tangier.
    Other things to note:
The majority of our tour in Chefchaouen involves walking, so please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
