Peaceful and beautiful Gubei Water Town and Great Wall - It was an amazing trip. We had Miko as our guide and he was wonderful with the details and the information of the Great Wall and the Gubei Water Town. He was kind enough to even recommended a nice local dumpling dinner which we thoroughly enjoyed. More importantly, he took great effort that we reach the Great Wall in time before the crowd comes so that we can take wonderful pictures. Not to mention he was careful to ensure that we do not miss the Great Wall since the weather was forecasted to rain that day. Truly enjoyable.

Stunning hike of the Great Wall - Huang took me on a fantastic tour of the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall. We were the only people there and Huang gave me an awesome history lectures in the car during our two hour journey there. stunning views and a very memorable experience. Simatai was also incredible and walking along the wall with it all lit up was beautiful. The water town is well worth seeing. An excellent tour and an excellent guide and driver.

Amazing experience with stunning landscapes - We had a wonderful day out with Miko and his driver. 2 hrs drive from Beijing with hotel pick up and drop off. Very knowledgeable and personable guide, detailed insights about China and the Great Wall. The scenery in Jinshanling is otherworldly as you are basically on your own, super for pics. Visiting the Gubei Water Town and Simatai Wall section for sunset was also spectacular, plus some great dumplings and Yinang beer. Loved everything about it, it’s pricey but totally worth it

Huang was AMAZING! - We were greeted at our hotel lobby. We booked a private tour so we had a private car. The driver was amazing, very nice and very skilled. It was a 2 hr drive to get to the great wall but it's well worth it. We went in April, weather was chilly but after some walking on the wall, we warmed right up. Since it is quite a distance away from the city, there was less people which is what we preferred. Pictures we took were just us, the wall, and the surrounding view. It was breathtaking! After JinShanLing we went down to eat at a local homestay. It was very delicious local food. Then we continued on to Gubei Water Town and the Simatai Wall. At night, the town and the wall was absolutely beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. The Watertown was built 20 years ago, so it's not old/original BUT they hired quite a lot of historical architects to construct a town to closely resemble old town from back in the day. I have to say, they did an absolutely amazing job. The details were amazing. It felt so real. It's definitely a must see/experience. Huang was very knowledgeable, he taught us China's history in full depth, the different dynastys and best of all, he can write traditional Han style calligraphy. Chinese calligraphy is something that needs to be continued on. On our way to the wall, he even prepared us handwritten calligraphy note, with our English names translated to Chinese. It was very thoughtful of him and we absolutely loved it! Huang was also very patient and helped us take some spectacular pictures! We highly recommend him!!!

Amazing tour! Absolute recommendable! - The views were amazing. We took a lot of photos, also with the drone. Anson was a great guide who took care about us. He provided a good mix of information about the Chinese history, time for photos and organized a very good dinner at jinshanling.

Great Experience at Night !!! Miko the best guide. - Incredible experience !! Miko have a great english speaking. We take the tour to Simatai Big Wall side at Night + Gubei Water Town, the private tour was awesome, very confortable SUV just for us, very professional driver. Miko always help us and have great knowledge regarding great wall. The drinks and food was simply delicious, always help taking great photos and have great comunication with us !! Totally recommended. This tour is the one and woth every penny spended !!! Thanks Miko, see you soon in Mexico

Amazing tour with Miko - Had a tour with Miko and work friends and was a fantastic time. Had the ability to see the water town and also the beautiful Great Wall during the evening. Miko provided lots of knowledge and was patient with us while we explored both areas. Highly recommend.

GREAT WALL REVIEW... - GREAT WALL REVIEW I and a friend of mine transited through China for a week and had the chance to visit the Great Wall by booking this tour. As to the cost, we concluded that for the completion of the service, its cost and its long duration (see as a positive tract), this was the best (and considering all alternatives to see the same things in a way the most affordable too) option to opt for. Our guide, who goes by the English name Myco (or Myko), used the long journey from Beijing to the Wall to first introduce us to some aspects of Chinese everyday life, which we would have probably missed if someone local hadn't told us, and then proceeded to inform us about the Wall and what we would have seen the rest of the day. The sightseeing tour was really satisfying and lived up to expectations, if not even more. Myco's choice of local food and the absence of anybody else on the Wall (in other sections it appears to be much different) really helped to make this day as similar to a deep dive into the real China as possible. We finished the day totally astonished and sure that the tour was worth every penny we paid. If we could see Myco (and why not also the driver Sun) again, we would thank him again for everything.
