Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - Our guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and we’ll take a 1.5-hour journey to the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Remember to charge your cameras and phones, as these adorable creatures are notorious for draining batteries! The park is a haven for observing giant pandas, red pandas, and potentially even baby pandas in the nursery. We aim to arrive early to catch them during their feeding and playtime.
Dujiangyan Irrigation System - Following our morning with the pandas, a brief 30-minute drive will bring us to the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We’ll begin our exploration at the irrigation park, a picturesque area where we can admire ancient bridges, temples, locals, and possibly even glimpse a distant snow-capped mountain.
