Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - In the morning, you will be driven 40minutes to Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center where you can have a close encounter with adorable pandas.Hopefully, we can catch the best time and Watch them play, eat bamboo and climb the trees. If you’re lucky enough (and travelling between July and September) you might get to see newborns .\nThere are only around 1000 pandas left in the world and 80% of them are found in the mountains in Sichuan. The panda base was set up 30 years ago to help protect this animal, and there are more than 80 giant and red pandas living at the base. \n- Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo) - Afterwards we’ll drive about two and a half hours to get to Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest and tallest stone-carved Buddha statue in the world. Over 1,300 years ago, the Giant Buddha was built to bless the passing boats. For several decades, it has attracted flocks of travelers to witness the grand Buddha statue. When you arrive here, you can climb to the mountain top to have a closer look of the Giant Buddha or go on a cruise to catch a panoramic view of it.
