• Tianfu Square - In the morning between 7:00 and 7:30 AM, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel if it is within the Second Ring Road or from the lobby of the Chengdu Sheraton Lido Hotel at 7:30 AM if your hotel is outside Chengdu. When booking the tour, please provide your room number so our tour guide can contact you a day in advance. Thank you.

• Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - Visit the Chengdu Research Center, renowned for its success in breeding Giant Pandas. After observing these delightful creatures, travel to the Leshan Giant Buddha, a monumental statue carved out of the mountain. These attractions are essential for understanding both historical and contemporary China.

Itinerary:

Step 1: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM, hotel pick-up.

Step 2: 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM, visit the Chengdu Research Center of Giant Panda Breeding.

Step 3: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, drive to Leshan.

Step 4: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, lunch break.

Step 5: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, visit the Leshan Giant Buddha on foot.

Step 6: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM, drive back to Chengdu City, tour ends near Tianfu Square.

No hotel pick-up is available outside the Second Ring Road. Please go to the Chengdu Sheraton Lido Hotel lobby at 7:30 AM to meet your guide.

• Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo) - After visiting the pandas, the tour will drive for about 2 hours to the Leshan Giant Buddha, where we will stay until 4:00 PM. Standing at 71 meters, the Giant Buddha (also known as Dafo) is the tallest stone Buddha statue in the world. It was carved out of a cliff face by an 8th-century monk. You can take a short walk on the hill to get close to the Giant Buddha or take a boat for a stunning view from the river.

• Tianfu Square - The tour will conclude at 4:00 PM, and you will be driven back to your hotel in central Chengdu or near Tianfu Square if your hotel is not within the Second Ring Road. We will return to Chengdu around 6:30–7:00 PM.
